Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Trailer Launch: Ayushmann Khurrana confesses that he was once caught with a girl by police

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor promises to be a masala entertainer with a love story, dance, drama, and a twist. The trailer was unveiled on Monday, November 8, 2021 amidst a big launch. During the Q&A session, Ayushmann confessed about Chandigarh police and couples and it was pretty hilarious.
When asked about the uniqueness of lovers in Chandigarh, Ayushmann Khurrana narrated an incident and said, “Absolutely, Chandigarh mein police ka darr hua hota hai. I remember we were shooting at Sukhna Lake and we were filming a date scene and I was hoping the police doesn’t catch us. That has happened to me in the past. Agar public place mein aap agar apni girlfriend ke saath hote ho toh phir aapko police pakad ke le jaati hai. I don’t know itne pyaar ke dushmann kyun hote hai police waale but yeh film dekhne ke baad pyaar ke dushmann bhi pyaar se pyaar karne lagenge aur aashiqui karne lagenge. I think Chandigarh Ke Aashiq itne alag kyun hote hai kyunki who police se bhi, guard se bhi [nikal jaate hai] (Absolutely, in Chandigarh, there’s the fear of police. I remember we were shooting at Sukhna Lake and we were filming a date scene and I was hoping the police doesn’t catch us. That has happened to me in the past. If you are in a public place with your girlfriend, police catch hold of you and take you with them. I don’t know why there are so many enemies around love but with this film, even enemies will love the lovers and will do romance. I think Chandigarh’s lovers are different because they don’t know [how to tackle] police and guards).
