Arizona film festival’s poster wall breaks world record

An Arizona film festival’s display of more than 1,300 movie posters broke a Guinness World Record.
The Chandler Film Festival’s wall of posters at the Look Dine-in Cinema was examined by a Guinness World Records adjudicator and determined to be the world’s largest display of movie posters.
The posters represented movies that have been screened at the festival over the years.
“We’re thrilled to commemorate the ninth year of CIFF by celebrating the films and filmmakers that have inspired us throughout the years,” Mitesh Patel, CIFF president and festival director, told AZFamily. “Each poster represents a unique story and a filmmaker’s passion. By bringing them all together, we’re paying tribute to the films that have made this event possible.”
The display broke the previous record by more than 300 posters.
