More than 2,000 students from three Indiana high schools came together Friday to attempt a Guinness World Record for the largest game of Duck, Duck, Goose.
The Vigo County School Corp. said students from the district’s three high schools convened Friday morning at Terre Haute South to play a massive game of Duck, Duck, Goose.
School officials said the game had to last for at least 16 minutes to conform with rules set by Guinness World Records.
Superintendent Rob Haworth said officials believe the record was successfully broken, but they are waiting for official word from Guinness.
The previous record of 2,135 people was set in 2011 by the Logan-Rogersville School District in Missouri.
