Minnesota man attempts ice cream cone world record in Ireland

A Minnesota man visiting Ireland stopped at a famous ice cream shop to attempt the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to eat a 130-gram ice cream cone.
Spring Lake Park resident James Clark paid a visit to Teddy’s in Dun Laoghaire and attempted the ice cream-eating speed record, which was previously set at 24.97 seconds.
Teddy’s shared a video on Facebook showing the ice cream cone being weighed at 130 grams before Clark attempted his feat.
The footage shows Clark completing his attempt in 24.72 seconds, appearing to take the record, although it must still be reviewed and certified by Guinness World Records.
Clark said the record would be his 35th Guinness World Records title.
