While SRKians are eagerly waiting for the release of Pathaan, which will mark the comeback of Shah Rukh Khan, here’s an update for another upcoming project, Dunki. On Wednesday evening, the Bollywood star took to his social media handle and shared a video to make the announcement of the Saudi wrap of Dunki.
Khan can be seen sporting a dapper look as he sported a coat over a blue round-neck tee. He also accessorised his look with a pair of shades. Captioning the video, he wrote, “A very big Shukran to @mocsaudi_en , the team and all who made this shoot schedule of #Dunki so smooth.”
Talking about the video, he asserted, “There is nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule as is with Dunki here in Saudi. So I want to thank Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) sir, Abhijat (Joshi), Manosh and the rest of the cast and crew for making it so lovely. And, a special thanks to the ministry of culture and films here in Saudi for giving us such spectacular locations, amazing arrangements and warm hospitality. So a very very big Shukran to you all and Barakallahu Feekum. God bless you,” in it.
“Dunki will be the first Bollywood film to be shot in Saudi Arabia. Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and other unit members are expected to fly to the Middle-Eastern country around November 15. Shooting will commence 2-3 days later and is expected to be wrapped up by November end. It is expected to take place in and around the city of Jeddah.”
