Alia Bhatt reveals that she is proud to say that she went to IIT; sings ‘Kesariya’ live for the audience

Alia Bhatt recently visited the campus of IIT Bombay for the promotions of her forthcoming film Brahmastra, which will feature her opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The prestigious institute is one of the highest ranked ones in India and is considered to be the perfect destination for the most intelligent students. Honoured at the opportunity of visiting it, the Darlings actress revealed that she is proud to tell students now that she has visited the institute.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor not only visited IIT Bombay but also interacted with the students of the institute. During the same, the actress revealed that she is proud to have gone to IIT even if it was just for an hour. She shared about it on Instagram saying, “IIT Bombay .. here we come!!! thanks to promotions at least I can proudly say I got into IIT(for one hour)????????????”
Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor also interacted with students on stage. On the audience’s demand, Alia obliged their request for her to sing a song. She sang the love ballad ‘Kesariya’ from her upcoming film Brahmastra on stage, and also, received a round of applause from the students. Here, have a look:
Speaking of Brahmastra, the film is a fantasy adventure drama, inspired by Indian mythology. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, it stars Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy, among others with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in special cameos. It is slated to release on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
