Aamir Khan visits late Suhani Bhatnagar’s parents in Faridabad

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan visited the grieving family of late Dangal actor Suhani Bhatnagar in Faridabad on Thursday evening. The meeting, which took place around 6 pm, saw Aamir extending his sympathies to Suhani’s parents and relatives, expressing his deep sorrow over the loss of the young talent.
Suhani Bhatnagar, best known for her portrayal of the young Babita Phogat in the hit film Dangal, tragically passed away last Friday at the tender age of 19. Her untimely demise was attributed to complications arising from dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease characterized by skin rash and muscle weakness. Confirming Aamir Khan’s visit, Suhani’s uncle Navneet Bhatnagar shared the news with NDTV.
Earlie, in the wake of Suhani’s tragic departure, her mother has offered poignant insights into the bond shared between the young actor and Aamir Khan. In an interview with E24, Suhani’s mother shared, “Aamir Sir has always been in touch with her. He is a nice person. We never shared this with him. We actually didn’t inform anyone. We were so disturbed by this.”
She further added, “Definitely, if we had messaged him, he would have immediately been there for us. In fact, even during his daughter’s wedding, he invited us. And in fact, he personally called us to be a part of his big day.”
Following Suhani’s passing, Aamir Khan’s production house had released a heartfelt statement mourning her loss and acknowledging her talent and contribution to the film Dangal. The statement expressed deep sadness over Suhani’s demise and conveyed sincere condolences to her mother Poojaji and the entire family.
For the unversed, the Faridabad-based Suhani Bhatnagar was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on February 7. However, her condition worsened which eventually led to her demise, revealed reports. In an interaction with ANI, Suhani’s father Sumit Bhatnagar mentioned that it all started with her developing rash-kind of issues on her skin, which was later diagnosed to be dermatomyositis. But her lungs started failing which eventually led to her demise.
