Kamal Haasan admitted to hospital in Chennai after complaining of a fever

South actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party chief Kamal Haasan was admitted to a hospital in Porur, Chennai on November 23. As per reports by ANI, the veteran actor was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SMRC) after complaining of a fever. Hours after the portal shared the news, Indian Express reached out to the actor’s spokesperson and quoted them saying that Haasan was hospitalised for a regular check-up and would be discharged today, i.e. November 24. However, neither the hospital nor the actor have issued any statement, so far.
Coming to his professional commitments, the 68-year-old actor is currently busy hosting the sixth season of Bigg Boss Tamil. Along with this, he is also occupied with the shooting of Indian 2. The shoot of the forthcoming film came to a standstill after an accident on the sets left three dead and 10 injured. It happened when a crane with heavy-duty light came crashing down in September. However, the shoot resumed after two years.
Talking about Indian 2, it is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The ensemble star cast of the upcoming film will also feature Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simhaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles. Helmed by S Shankar, it is the follow-up to the 1996 vigilante action thriller Indian.
