Makhan Mishri is an all-time favourite bhog of Lord Krishna. It is specially prepared for the bhog of Lord Krishna at the festival of Janamashtmi.
Ingredients
1 bowl of Malai or cream
3-4 cups of water
2-3 tsp Mishri (candied sugar)
Leaves Holi Basil
As needed Rose flowers & petals for garnishing
Steps
Firstly take malai or cream and beat with a hand blender or blend in the mixture blender by pouring little by little cold water till the butter floats over the buttermilk, now Pour plenty of water and give a good mix. The butter will be separated out from the buttermilk
If the weather is too cold then pour hot water to separate the butter from the buttermilk
Scoop out the butter with the help of a scooper and press it as much as possible to get rid of buttermilk
Grind Mishri and add it to Makhan.
Your Makhan Mishri is ready. Garnish with candied sugar (Mishri), rose petals with Holi basil leaves
First serve the bhog of Makhan Mishri to “Kanha Ji” and then to family, friends and relatives.
