The week of love i.e. Valentine’s week is going to start from 7th February 2022. Valentine’s Week runs from February 7 to February 14 and each day of this week is very special for lovers. So here we are telling you the history of Valentine along with its complete schedule.
There is a story behind this special week which is from 270 AD. Actually, at that time there used to be a man named Claudius Gothicus II in the Roman Empire. It is believed that he was strictly against love affairs and marriage. Claudius believed that soldiers forget their goals and lose the war if he lands himself in a relationship or marriage.
This was the only reason that he banned the marriage of soldiers in his regime. But in the same state, there was a Catholic saint named ‘Valentine’, who opposed this order. Claudius had killed Valentine. It is believed that the day Saint Valentine dies was February 14. Since then this day was celebrated as Valentine’s Day.

Day 1- Rose Day
Rose Day is not just a festival of lovers. Only couples do not celebrate Rose Day by giving roses to their partner. You can also celebrate Rose Day by giving roses to friends and loved ones. Day 2- Propose Day
Although proposes can be made at any time, the second day of Valentine’s week is celebrated which is Propose Day. For lovers, this is a special occasion for expressing their love.
Day 3- Chocolate Day
On this day people gift their favourite chocolate to their loved ones. Nowadays, chocolates of different designs and flavours are available in the market. By giving chocolates on this day, people tell their partner how much they love them.
Day 4- Teddy Day
Teddy Day has a lot of importance among the youth. As soon as Valentine’s week starts, many types of small and big teddy are available in the market. In such a situation, on this day you can also gift any teddy to your partner.
Day 5- Promise Day
On this day, people promise their partner to be together and to love each other for the rest of their lives, which strengthens the relationship between people even more.
Day 6- Hug Day
If you love someone, then touch matters a lot in expressing your feelings. You can also express love to your partner through touch. Sometimes touch matters more than your words. In such a situation, you can also express your love by giving a hug to your partner.
Day 7- Kiss Day
The seventh day in this week of love is Kiss day, which is all about expressing your feelings through the kiss. On this day, you can express your love by kissing the forehead of the partner, kissing hands or lips.
Day 8- Valentine’s Day
This day is very special for couples. On this day, couples spend time with each other and plan surprises for each other or go for a walk somewhere. Along with this, people also give gifts to their partners on this day.
