Pav bhaji recipe

Pav bhaji recipe, this is the simplest and easiest you can make your kids eat rainbow of vegetables without any fuss.
Ingredients
  • 2 Potato
  • 1.5 cups Mixed vegetable Beans, carrot, green peas, beetroot, cauliflower- chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Capsicum finely chopped
  • 2 Tomato finely chopped or pureed
  • 2 Green chilli slit
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji masala
  • Salt
  • Lemon wedges to serve
  • Pav Buns to serve
  • Onion and coriander leaves chopped – As needed for garnishing
 Instructions
  • Pressure cook peeled, chopped potatoes and other chopped veggies together with little water, upto 3 whistles in the pressure cooker.
  • Mash nicely with a potato masher and set aside.
  • Heat a broad pan with butter, fry the onion until translucent.
  • After that add ginger garlic paste, and fry till the raw smell of the ginger garlic paste goes off.
  • Then add the capsicum and fry for a minute.
  • Following it, add tomatoes, salt, pav Bhaji masala and red chilli powder.
  • Fry till tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
  • Then add all the veggies, and stir well.
  • Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes and mash with a ladle so that all the veggies get mixed well.
  • Finally, add butter if desired. Bhaji is ready now to serve with pav.
