Bollywood’s power couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, graced the prestigious 69th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2024 in Gujarat on Sunday night, January 28. The duo not only clinched two top accolades but also mesmerized the audience with an impromptu performance that stole the show.
During the event, Ranbir Kapoor took centre stage to showcase a medley of his chart-topping songs. Adding to this, his wife, Alia Bhatt, joined him for a special segment. Videos from inside the awards ceremony soon made rounds on social media, capturing Ranbir and Alia’s performance. The couple enthralled the audience with their dance of the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ from the film Animal. Ranbir and Alia recreated Bobby Deol’s iconic step from the song, holding glasses on their heads. The highlight came when Ranbir affectionately kissed Alia on her cheek.
On the film front, fans eagerly anticipate Ranbir and Alia’s upcoming collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. Set to release on Christmas next year, the multi-starrer also features Vicky Kaushal. This project holds immense significance as it marks the reunion of SLB and Ranbir Kapoor after 17 years, reminiscent of their collaboration in the film Saawariya. Moreover, it marks Alia’s second collaboration with the filmmaker following her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
