Shah Rukh Khan spends time with acid attack survivors in Kolkata

Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Kolkata for the Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Royal Challenger Bangalore match on Thursday. The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) match was held at Eden Gardens where KKR won. The actor took some time out to meet a few acid attack survivors through his Meer Foundation.
A slew of photos of Shah Rukh Khan has gone viral on the internet, where he is seen striking a pose with the women and having a conversation. He donned a grey shirt with washed denims and sunglasses.
Meer Foundation is named after Shah Rukh Khan’s father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. The foundation works towards helping women and their empowerment.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the success of Pathaan. The film, released in January 2023, surpassed Rs. 1000 crore mark at the global box office. He is currently on the verge of wrapping the shoot for Atlee Kumar’s Jawan. The film is scheduled for June 2023 release. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki set for December release
