People of Nagla Kali, Semri, and Rajarai celebrated the 17th anniversary of Lord Sharma and his wife Usha Devi in a very unique way. Both the couples celebrated their wedding anniversary in the middle of a dirty and smelly drain and also got photographed. This unique demonstration was done to wake up the public representatives and officials of Agra.
For the last 15 years, people living in the area have been troubled by dirty water, roads and lack of cleanliness. Everyone together found a way to protest against this and now have announced that anyone’s birthday, wedding anniversary or any other event in the colony will be celebrated in the middle of this dirty drain.
Bhagwan Sharma of Nagla Kali, Agra, celebrated his 17th wedding anniversary with his wife Usha Devi by standing in the middle of dirty water. Where they also garlanded each other. During this, the residents of the colony were present with band instruments.
The name of the drain is “Pushpdeep”
Bhagwan Sharma says that earlier we were planning to go to Lakshadweep or Maldives to celebrate the wedding anniversary. But due to the negligence of our public representatives, there is no place for sewer and dirty water disposal in our area. Therefore our road has turned into a dirty drain and we have named it “Pushpdeep”. Today we have celebrated our wedding anniversary by protesting against this.
