Priyanka Chopra Jonas reveals that little Malti has got her ‘wrapped around her finger’; says, “I was so close to losing her that she can get away with anything”

Last Mother’s Day, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had opened up about her motherhood journey and posted about her and Nick Jonas’ daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on social media. She had taken up to the platform to talk about her struggle with the complicated delivery of Malti, after the couple opted for surrogacy. As Mother’s Day 2023 is approaching, the actress opened up about how she can’t get herself to discipline her daughter because of the difficult journey they have had to bring her into the world.
Readers would recall that Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared a post about the complications surrounding her daughter’s delivery. In an interview with Elle Magazine, the actress revealed that the journey has been so emotional that Malti now has her mother wrapped around her finger because she cannot bring herself to discipline her. She said, “She’s got me wrapped around her finger. I don’t even know how I’ll ever discipline her because I just don’t have it in me. I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything and I just want to see her happy. I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous. Every time she smiles, it lights up my world, and that’s all I want to do.”
Further she went on to talk about Mother’s Day adding, “I’ve not been a mom long enough to be able to take the celebration, but I love to celebrate the moms in my life on Mother’s Day.”
For the unversed, last year on Mother’s Day, the Citadel actress had posted about how her little angel was in the NICU for 100 days. She had expressed gratitude towards the hospital staff and the entire team of doctors who helped the Jonas family to get their little baby home.
