Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar has had her hands quite full this year. The much-in-demand heroine has been working on six films since the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted. As Diwali celebrations commenced this past weekend, Bhumi let her hair down with friends and family. She hosted a Diwali bash to celebrate the festival in a grand manner.
Bhumi has been travelling across the country and abroad to shoot for her projects, while prepping for her upcoming films including Afwaah. She hasn’t been in her hometown, Mumbai, for the most part of the year! As she has had very little chance to connect with her family or catch up with friends, Diwali has presented the perfect opportunity to celebrate. She hosted an eco-friendly, relaxed evening for the festival, giving people a chance to connect with each other.
Bhumi’s sister Samiksha Pednekar shared several pictures of the Diwali decorations and a few others with her family and friends on her Instagram stories. Rhea Kapoor, who was also in attendance, was seen spending time with her close friend, fashion designer-actor Masaba Gupta.
At the party, Shah Rukh Khan’s kids Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan were in attendance. Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter Nysa Devgn looked stunning in gold embellished lehenga as she enjoyed her time with her friends. Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and many more celebs were in attendance.
On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar has a mighty slate of films that includes Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed, Ajay Bahl’s The Ladykiller, Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Mera Naam, Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan, Sudhir Mishra’s Afwaah, Gauri Khan produced Bhakshak and a couple of more unannounced projects.
