Virat Kohli reveals about Anushka Sharma making ‘sacrifices’ as a mother; says, “She has been a big inspiration for me”

Virat Kohli, who has been busy with his professional commitments, opened up about parenthood and how Anushka Sharma has been responsibly handling all her motherhood duties. He appreciated the actress for maintaining this balance and also went on to open up about how she made ‘sacrifices’ to look after their daughter Vamika. Virat, who is gearing up for his cricket matches including the upcoming IPL, revealed about how she inspired him to be better in a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) podcast.
Virat Kohli was seen talking about the presence of Vamika and how it changed his and Anushka’s life, as he said, “The way things have been in the past two years, we have had our child and. As a mother, the sacrifices that she made have been massive. Looking at her, I realized whatever problems I had were nothing. As far as expectations are concerned, as long as your family loves you for who you are, you don’t expect much because that is the basic requirement.”
He continued about her motivating him to be better, adding, “When you look for inspiration, you start from home and, obviously, Anushka has been a big inspiration for me. My life had a completely different perspective. When you fall in love with a person, you start processing those changes within you as well. Her outlook towards life was different and it urged me to change for the better and become more accepting of things.”
Coming to Anushka Sharma, the actress is currently handling her production house Clean Slate Filmz along with her brother Karnesh Sharma and gearing up for the release of Chakda Xpress, which interestingly portrays her role as a cricketer. The film is expected to be a biopic on the life of renowned Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
