This Neem tree is special, a stream of milk flows from it.

Maa Dudheshwari Swayambhudham is located at Bhaldam Chatti, Soso turn of Lohardaga Road, Gumla district headquarters. According to beliefs, a stream of milk flows from the Neem tree here. Just by drinking it one gets relief from many serious diseases. Swayambhu Shivalinga is also present here, where people come from far and wide for darshan. Especially on the occasion of Shivratri, there is a huge crowd of people here. During this period, Kalash Yatra, Akhand Kirtan and Bhandara are also organised.

Bhola Das Goswami, the priest of Maa Dudheshwari Swayambhudham, says that in August 2016, milk started falling from the Neem tree located at Bhaldam Chatti. Rakesh Singh of the village was the first to see this. After that, he gave this information to the people of the village.

Then people did a lot of research at their level so that they could know from where the milk was falling. But it was not detected nor did the milk flow stop. Then people started considering it as a divine miracle and started worshipping this tree.

Priest Bhola Das further says that his wife Saraswati Devi had a dream that Shivalinga would appear near the tree. On the repeated insistence of his wife, he went near that Neem tree at 2-3 o’clock in the night and started searching for Shivalinga and after a lot of searching, he found Shivalinga there.

After this, he informed the people of the village, after which worship was started daily there. For about 3 months, milk kept flowing from the tree in a strong stream 24 hours a day. Even now milk falls from this tree occasionally. People consume milk like Prasad. Even major diseases of many people have been cured by consuming this milk.

It is believed that whatever wishes or wishes are made here with a true heart, God fulfils them. Special puja is performed here during every festival. On the occasion of Dussehra, a floating idol is also displayed.
